EB: Well I fell into a production rabbit hole on this one. The posting at the last minute is on me. Brad sent some good and silly lyrics a la Monty Python or The Rutles and I went all Phil Spector on them! Thanks, Brad!
Well, seems the vocal tracks went missing. Going looking for those!
There’s a problem that requires some discussion
That dates back, oh, some many thousand years
It involves a long and very pointy thing
That has been the cause of centuries of tears
They come in a variety of colors
Men or women sometimes hold them in their hand
They’re just as often taken or-a-lly
But their flavor causes some people to gag
We must unite to end the suffering
Of children doing things against their will
Of profiting off the misery of thousands
Of people who choke it down just like a pill
Some may say that it can be nutritious
That the benefits far outweigh the cons
That the taste is something they crave daily
That once its ripe it should be feasted on
But I stand with the ones who’ve faced harassment
Who face a prejudice precious few will know
For choosing something true over convention
With those who far too long have stood alone
We must eradicate the awful species
We must be firm, we must be resolute
We must speak out against the truly evil
We must labor long against the curs’ed fruit
We need to make a change
We need to raise the banner
We need to stick together
‘Til we kill the last banana
We need to make a change
We need to raise the banner
We need to stick together
‘Til we kill the last banana
We need to make a change
We need to raise the banner
We need to stick together
‘Til we kill the last banana
We need to make a change
We need to raise the banner
We need to stick together
‘Til we kill the last banana

Great arrangement. Funny fruity lyrics. I want to hear it with the vocals, need to find those missing vocal tracks!!

Down with bananas! Eat 'em all! Yes, please, find those missing vocal tracks and ping when available, thank you. In the meantime, my bananas have all split.

I had to play and reread again after the killing of the last banana
Very clever word play and great music. and funny
I would love to hear the vocals on this one.

"‘Til we kill the last banana" - that line has appeal (no pun intended...yes, it is). I have an idea of how this pairs up with the lyrics (which are very much in the MP wheelhouse). Hit me up when you find the vocals.

Perfect and brilliant musical recreation of the lyrics. It must be a really good song as i can hear all sorts of melodies going around my head to that chord progression and this is going to be a top song. Oooo i hope the melody comes out at some point.

Hopefully you can relocate the vocal track! I'd really like to hear how these silly lyrics go with the more serious, light-rockish music. The separate parts are both pretty darn cool, and I bet it would work tremendously together!

What a pity the vocal tracks are missing! But I enjoyed reading the lyrics and imagine.

Cool lyrics and great music. Hope they eventually get to hand out together....

Like the lyric and I like the music. And I like bananas too. We have bananas (and coconuts) growing everywhere here. A ton of varieties. Mmm mmm mmm
@billwhite51 Mar 2022
reading the lyrics while listening to tje music will have to do for now
@coolparadiso Mar 2022
One day they will find each other again. I really like the music and i can hear it straight or with that wacky inflection particularly around tge turnaround! Nice
@reboog711 Mar 2022
I like the music... I was listening in the background and didn't realize there were also lyrics too it.
I hate it when things go down a production rabbit hole and get list. The instruments mix together well. :-)

Looking forward to hearing vocals and music reunited! The production is clean and never overwhelming, and the lyrics are a hoot!
@misterdemp Mar 2022
I like this one, killer layers and production, but might've lost the vocal tracks in the mix? Or maybe it's on the way...looking forward to hearing.
