It all started with the random thought of "two snowflakes sitting in a tree f r e e z i n g" and it spiraled out of control from there.
Special thanks to The Tumbleweed Snowflakes for lending their lovely voices.
Also, thank you to web site of Dr. Kenneth G. Libbrecht, Professor of Physics, Caltech, which I found from some random Google search. I borrowed some words from there.

two little snowflakes
sitting in a tree
f r double-e z i n g
first came cold
then precipitation
hooray! the snow came
to lower elevation
landed in the apple tree
in my side yard
making that journey
was not so hard
started way up there
in the sky
and then g r a v i t y
no two snowflakes are quite the same
even if not called by a different name
crystal, column, needle, dendrite or plates
all love one another
no snowflake hates
one little snowflake
said to the other
you look a whole lot like my big brother
the other one said
you confused some flake with me
I am u n i q u e
she said oh no
I am quite sure
I have seen your six points before
and if it weren't you then it'd have to be
some s i b l i n g
I have no brother
no sister fair
my family tree
is mostly bare
I come from the west
you probably heard of me
d e n d r i t e
everyone knows that no two flakes
look very much alike
for goodness sake
snowflakes love to dance in the air
wear hippie leather sandals and braid their hair
they hate the sun and love the snow
avoid talk r a d i o
are your water molecules
isotopically pure
or are you the type of flake
that isn't so sure
about your background geneology
are you a half breed snowflake m u t t
everybody knows the complexity
of crystalline solids is n e a t
once knew a man who loved to study snow
the hexagonal form
of h 2 ooooooooo
"And thus it's unlikely that any two complex snow crystals, out of all those made over the entire history of the planet, have ever looked completely alike." [Libbrecht, 1999]
"nano snowflakes can be exactly alike" [ibid]
"small snow crystals can look [kinda] alike" [ibid]
but if you're talking about the kind
that cover your tent
"larger, complex snowflakes are all different" [ibid]
now can you name them all?
plates, stellar crystals, and capped columns
needles, spatial dendrites, irregular forms
frozen graupel, hail and can you guess?

Oh my, this is fun! I think my brain just exploded, but in a good way. Of course, this song screams "great for kids!" but there is something for everyone here. So many great lines, multilevel jokes and the spelling made me laugh more than spelling ever (probably) has. :-) Really enjoyable performance and production, too! Wow. Great job!!
