It's the year 1990 and you are 8 years old. Your mother takes you the Mall to do some shopping and accidentally leaves you in the Amazon Rainforest store. It impacts you a lot. In a good way. You never noticed she was gone. You just listened to Enya and Peruvian Pan Flute CDS and looked at tiny statues of Tree frogs and played with Rain sticks and Kalimbas for an hour.

Yes, I definitely hear that Enya influence! And, your liner notes paint a very clear picture to develop further. Let me offer some potential lyrics for consideration:
Verse 1: (00:18)
I’m old enough to need space for myself
It’s time this fledgling leaves the nest
Rainforest is the coolest place
Their distractions are the best!
Verse 2: (00:38)
My mom is shopping and I’ll be OK
To tiny tree frog statues I'm drawn
Pan flutes and Enya are calling to me
Did she even notice I was gone?
Chorus:
Eight is great And old enough
To explore the world on your own
Eight is great Just calculate
That pretty soon I’ll be full grown…
Verse 3:
She might be out there searching frantically
But I’m quite happy now, for what it’s worth
I’ll satisfy my curiosity for several hours
And when I’m ready, return to earth
Verse 4:
Kalimbas are the coolest thing I’ve seen
You can play them with just your thumbs
Give me a few more hours in this store
And I’ll emerge – speaking in tongues
These are just some "off the cuff" thoughts, but e-mail me if you want to try a collaboration!
