A perfectly apt title! I love this jangly crunchy tone as well. This really weaves and flows and is quite hypnotic and dynamic. I think it works perfectly as an instrumental, and I'm glad you left it one track. I would of added two or ten more layers and turned it into some sort of chaotic monster LOL. Really enjoyed this a lot, so I apologize in advance for when next time I sit down and play I rip off this chord phrasing haha.
I like how you play with the dynamics of the song, intensifying and then bringing it down again at intervals. It brings to mind images of how our thoughts work ~ how they don't necessarily always stick to the same rhythm or pace, yet they're all connected in a seamless flow. Very cool!

This has an old time vintage sound in your guitar tone, very reflective of a moment.

Sweet chords at 2:07 ish! And a good mellow feel to the melancholy overall.
