Feb 2022 hhgttg live-looping ambient improvisation douglas-adams-70th
I've decided to do a set of ambient pieces, continuing the practice I established during Fifty/Ninety last year. The goal is to get to 42 songs this FAWM. That figure is (of course) in honour of the creator of The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Douglas Adams, who would be 70 years old on March 11th.
Chris: RG9-BK nine-string guitar, loop pedal, processing.
Marvin the Paranoid Android: himself.
And now that I've hit the magical 42—which is not only the answer to the ultimate question of Life, The Universe, and Everything but also a *treble* FAWM—I'm done for the month. Thank you so much for listening and commenting on my stuff and leaving messages on my soundboard. You have no idea how much of a boost they give me.

Marvin is in fine form here (and yeah, is that you?)
Lovely ambient feel... explain to me a 9 string guitar? Is that a low B and G below the low E and a high A above the high E?

Ooh, those are some delicious guitars, and very well processed. All giving a nice spacey vibe, which definitely fits with the project's aim and theme. Even lovelier to know that this was improvisational.

Lots of good guitar lines in here, very reminiscent sound and of farewell, congrats on 42!

This is great..... are they samples of Marvin or is it actually you? You should send these 'vignettes' of HHGttG themes to the Douglas Asdams estate.... they are great!
