Feb 2022 experimental pripyat-pianos ambient instrumental
I had to finish with another from the Pripyat Piano. There is something mesmerising about the notion of the sound coming from radioactive pianos. And I bunged it through Valhalla Supermassive.
It's also running in parallel with the Heavyocity Aspire library mallet instrument.
Maybe not quite an "ambient" track, because there is a detectable rhythm.
But I've achieved my goal of the quadruple FAWM finish with this, so I'll worry about genre another time.
Instrumental.

I’ve listened to a number of your radioactive piano key songs. They’ve all been interesting. This is no exception. Congrats on your quadruple FAWM finish.

Another really good track you made with this, some nice shimmers in here.

You really can't go wrong with a radioactive piano. Well you can, but not a virtual one, at least. This is lovely, and those mallet arpeggios are gorgeous.
Yes, there are some familiar sounds in this! Both the Pripyat Pianos and Heavyocity's Ascend (the piano-based brother of Aspire) have been right up at the top end of both usability and creative inspiration for me as far as virtual instruments I've acquired over the last year. It's worth playing with the reverb settings in the Pripyat Pianos, as there are some really good ones that are not added by default. And Native Instruments's "Noire" piano is a great companion to them, by the way (if you've not heard Niels Frahm's music, I reckon you would like it...)
For those of you thinking of acquiring a radioactive piano of your own, you do need the full version of Kontakt. I discovered this when I tried using them with just the Kontakt player and they only worked for fifteen minutes.

It has strong movement within it. Interesting sounds and layers. It’s my final listen of the night and I’m glad I picked it.

Beautiful sound.

The sound has a vocal quality. Like blurred voices. Fine one

Listened with sound up. Shook me out of my seat at the beginning, but it was good. I needed to get up and move.
I certainly admire the variations of sound here, not knowing anything about how it is produced. I have enjoyed listening to your songs this month.
