So, I decided to do one last tune (2nd to last tune) for FAWM 2022.
Got out my grandad's 1920's parlor guitar. I had it repaired a few years back, and converted to classical/flamenco style (nylon strings).
I was thinking about creation and inspiration, and where those things come from and where they might lead. Some of us (myself included) are frightened by the changes that something new brings, where as others jump in head first.
Take a deep breath.
1920's parlor guitar, Rickenbacker 4003s bass, Moog Voyager, Tama Club Jam.
Day after day, we march through a haze
Following the trails that others dared to blaze
We take for granted the things we never did
Time passes by and we forgot to try
No one knows where the road begins
And no one will unless we try
Take a chance and see if you can live
You just might end up mystified
Night after night, we pretend it's alright
Following the lights that lead us to nowhere
Where is the path that will take us away from here?
Maybe it's time to take some chances
No one knows where the road begins
And no one will unless we try
Take a chance and see if you can live
You just might end up mystified

I really like this, tons of ambience, voice and lyrics are stellar and I love the sound of that guitar! Reminds me a little of 'Air' (the French duo)

Evocative and compelling. The chorus is especially powerful. The guitar sounds fantastic!

Wise words of advice 'Take a chance and see if you can live'. There is a sad pleading in this song, Unique combination of instruments!
