Between two trees, we dance a pas de deux,
and I am blessed to be your pas de dude.
As duo there’s so much that we can do:
so many different kinds of pas de deux...
When duty calls, and we must do our duty,
we dance within its midst a pas de duty.
And if the road ahead looks dubious
we nonetheless can dance a pax de dubious.
And if the world looks headed for its doom,
we even so can dance a pas de doom.
As duo there’s so much that we can do:
so many different kinds of pas de deux...
When drawn to one another, like a doodle,
the two of us can dance a pas de doodle,
and when we dwell in love as if a duplex,
within its walls we dance a pas de duplex.
And if we build sand castles on a dune,
we dance around the shore a pas de dune.
As duo there’s so much that we can do:
so many different kinds of pas de deux...
When we are covered by a bed’s duvet
we nevertheless can dance, a pas de duvet,
and when it feels a dance is overdue,
our remedy can be a pas de deux,
and we can dance alone or as a duo
and either way we dance as pas de duo OH...
As duo there’s so much that we can do:
so many different kinds of pas de deux..

I am a sucker for puns and wordplay, especially bilingual puns and wordplay. This is very sweet and a lot of fun.
