This was done with Kerri Winter - who did a wonderful job on the story telling of this in my first effort at a dialogue style duet. I did a lot of things wrong on this but getting Kerri involved was not pone of them!! Learnt a lot, thanks Kerri for doing this so quickly as the Sun sets on FAWM.
I have no idea as to how to mark this as a collab, but if someone tells me how I will do the edit.
Running me 'round:
M: You say yes,
F: I say no,
M: Maybe you really don’t know
F: You don’t ask the questions, you really should pose
——
M: Maybe this evening, maybe for dinner,
F: I’ll think about it tomorrow
M: But the weather’s better,
F: Maybe never,
M: Just give us a go
——
F: I like inside, you like outside, not sure this will ever working out
M: Baby I just think that you’re - running me round
—
M: I like cello, oh so mellow, you say you like disco now,
F: Oh Baby I just think your now running me down
—-
Chorus: 42
F: If I feel our chakra’s are sound,
I’ll think about a night on the town,
But I’m just saying we’ll keep our distance for now
M: If you think your chakra’s are sound?
Maybe the moon needs to fall right on down
It’ll never be time, baby you’re just running me round!
——
F: I like fish,
M: I like steak, Vegan is just out of bounds
F: I might just try some tofu, if you keep running me round
——
M: I like now, you like maybe not, sure why we can’t decide.
F: Your too pushy, move too quickly
M: You’re running me round.
Chorus: 75
F: I think you might be too proud,
Not seeing things take their good time,
This isn’t easy baby, all this running around
M: You think that I’m too proud?
I hear you good, proper and loud
I wonder maybe if you’re just - running me round.

I also like the back and forth dialogue. And the fact that you the author oar giving us the run around since we are not sure, at the end, if the pair will ever stop their messing around and get together :-)

So much to like here! The interplay between the instruments, especially with the primitivism on the keys. The way the verses flow into and almost on top of one another... I love this kind of thing
But it's the vocals working together and against one another that really make it. It must have been hard doing this remote, but because of the way the song is put together, as well as the subject in general, the imperfection of vocal entry works really well. I enjoyed this a lot

This is an adorable and thoroughly enjoyable song. I love that it's a duet with the back and forth dialogue between a couple that maybe isn't right for each other. Creative idea and well performed. Catchy melody and a great vocal from you both. Great song. Great collaboration.
Greg, you asked how to add Kerri as a collaborator for this song. From your soundboard, click on this song, then click on the edit box (top right) then scroll down to the 2nd from bottom item marked "collaborators" and add Kerri's FAWM name. (You might need the @ symbol. I'm not sure. It's been a while since I've done it.) Good luck.
