This was originally titled Shared Piece of Heart.
This vibe ended up a bit more country, but the end track is still fun and still says what we want.
Hey I like this thing
It’s new to me
Welcome to the club
I read the original in 73
Welcome to the club
I only like the TV special
Welcome to the club
I don’t like any of it at all
I think you might be lost
Welcome to this big old ever expanding club
We’re connected together by this thing that we love
We are not going to agree on every little part
What matters most is our shared piece of heart
I thought this episode was great
Have fun and talk it out
I thought it was better in 98
Have fun and talk it out
Which character has the best hair
Have fun and talk it out
Anyone who disagrees is wrong
Did you listen to this song?
Finding a point where our hearts connect
Is rare and precious thing
We should celebrate the thing we love
Without jumping in to the ring
I love this thing a little bit
Welcome to the club
I named all my kids for it
Welcome to the club
I call myself a fan
Welcome to the club
I call myself a fan
Welcome to the club

"Trolls Anonymous", ha. Something tells me that there's someone who's gatekeeping "true members" from coming in, which this song does a great job of calling out the toxicity that attitude represents. I love the transitions between sections and "Jen's Interjections" (my new fake band are always a hit with me. I'm a fan of yours - can I come in the club? I can!

lyrics should include jen's interjections as well :) didn't catch them all...
sounds familiar. i think the more specific lines ("I read the original in 73" or "I only like the TV special") are stronger than some of the more vague ones ("Which character has the best hair") if you're thinking about any revisions. all in all a solid relatable addition to the FS arsenal! :)

Really fun song and awfully darn catchy. "Anyone who disagrees is wrong, did you listen to this song" is great. Love the background vocals and guitar work. Sounds like it could be the theme song to some kids' show on Nickelodeon.

Oh, the interjections! So true! And these lines too:
Anyone who disagrees is wrong
Did you listen to this song?
Fun and upbeat and hopefully sneaking in a message to a few who need a clue by four upside the head.

Boy this sounds familiar . . .
The idea, not the song.
