This is sort of a half idea. I was thinking of what it would be like to get a reboot of your life. Kind of like the Truman Show but they recast everyone in your life so that they're younger and hotter. Basically a parody of what every movie and TV show is nowadays.
Still trying to figure out the angle and don't really have a solid melody for the verse (or middle 8) but I'm liking the synth sound I found for the chorus.
Her life was good, her life was fine
Packing boxes, assembly line
One day she got a call on the warehouse phone
A chance to change, everything she’d known
For a small fee, and a little work
They could reboot, her entire world
A hotter cast, a different set
And here’s what she said
Oh yeah, oh yeah
Reboot my life, reboot my life
The sweepstakes, in its thirteenth year
They’d worked out the kinks, kicked into high gear
Everything that’s wrong, gets washed away
And you’re left with one thing to say
When everything’s said and done
The crew is gone, she’s the only one
They gave her back her life
They just took her for a ride
Oh yeah, oh yeah
Reboot my life, reboot my life

Cool idea. A lot of people would take a reboot.
I don't think I would do it, I'm in an OK place.
I like the chorus, takes it up a notch with those sharp-sounding synth tones.
And of course they just deposit her back in her crappy life at the end. Series cancelled. Low ratings.

I like how you've mixed lounge-type music with some sci-fi sounds. Clever considering the song concept. I'd like to hear this when you suss it out.
