I wanted to write a Spinal Tap-esque song. Hoping to build this out into something more metal sounding, just a demo for now.
It's such a fine line between stupid and clever...
You say bigger is better and
No one should forget it
But there’s a world you’re missing and
You’re just too scared to admit it
Finger sandwiches, cocktail franks
Sports cars, honey badgers
The travel aisle at the pharmacy,
Tom Cruise, Teri Hatcher
Size size size doesn’t matter
Except with oil spills and party platters
A microchip is very strong
It doesn’t need to be thick or long
You need to rethink how you feel
Your position is so unreal
Size is just a number and
Everybody knows it
A thing can be very huge but
Maybe just not show it
Icebergs, atomic bombs
Napoleon, Bruce Lee
Hornet stingers and bulldogs
Are all good examples to me
Size size size doesn’t matter
Your worldview just got shattered
A little ant can lift a ton
It’s power is clear to everyone
You drank a giant kool aid cup
Filled with size matters stuff
Bigger, is not better
Unless you’re buying, plus size sweaters
Small is mighty, you’ll see
The NRA agrees with me
Size size size doesn’t matter
Stop your meaningless chatter
You need a microscope to see
The virus in your system
Does that mean it can’t fulfill
It’s diabolical mission?

A fun song! You definitely hit the Spinal Tap vein. The chorus is catchy, especially the repeated ‘size size size’. Great lyrics as well.

I love a lot of the references here, and the repeating of Size really nails it. Nice job.
