I just wanted to say a huge !!!!THANK YOU!!!! to everyone that listened to my songs, commented on them and supported me. You don’t know how much it means to me. I never went out with my music, because I didn‘t know how and I doubted myself and so I rarely finished songs - because why finishing when nobody listens? Discovering FAWM was one of the best accidents ever happening to me. Listening to fellow Fawmers music is so inspiring and I’m thankful for making wonderful connections, even collaborating for FAWM and afterwards. God, now that it’s over I really feel sad because I’ll miss you so much.
I learned A LOT about songwriting and recording, dismissed some false beliefs about myself and especially learned that it’s totally fine to record and show a not-so-perfect song. Also I found out that I’m still married to my guitar when it comes to songwriting. After all these years - always…
Now that it’s over I’ll rest my muse for a bit and join the listening party :) And who knows, maybe I’ll join 50/90, but I guess I’ll have less time in the following months. But I’ll definitely be here next year and hopefully I can convince my boyfriend to join too because it would do him good to release his perfectionism and it‘d make it easier when the both of us were occupied with FAWM :D
It is an honor to be part of this community and I really feel part of this FAWMily <3
Now excuse me I’ll have to cry into my pillow :,)

Oh, this is so sweet. Good to meet you and see you next year and maybe at the 50/90.

An absolute pleasure working with you Jil! Keep in touch for future endeavors :)

What a cool idea to post your thanks as a song. This is exactly how I felt after my first FAWM last year. Songwriting is one thing but I also enjoy neat recordings and full quality productions so I won't join 50/90. I'm happy your first FAWM has been a blast. Join the listening party or tit4tat.

Great not a song :D
Good luck! I hope you can get your partner involved! I've had very little luck getting people I know to participate, then the same people wonder how I can write so much and have a demo done super quick... half the time writing as I go. I've only done 50/90 the last couple years as I'm usually much busier in the summer and it just seemed too daunting, but I've come to love it just as much... and actually probably a little more. There's less FOMO as its usually a smaller group that participates and its actually possible to at least hear/read something form everyone and more time to line up collabs/etc.
