I'm going to leave the same way I entered: on a bass-driven wave of utter nonsense.
Caveman wrestling with his thoughts
"Why am I here, what ought I to do?"
seconds before a sabre tooth tiger
sinks its jaws into him
Caveman throwing rocks at the sun
Neanderthal calling out to no one
Candleman looking for his wick
starting a fire with two sticks
Stone age stoner stoned on poppies and coca
"Although he's a loner he's prone to loneliness,"
said the lioness to the lion
who promptly ate him
... and got high
Candleman lights up the night
waxing and waning with the moon
burning, melting, incinerating
and, finally, smoldering

This is really cool. That bass and the bits of guitars coming in and out like ebb and flow...it has a special sound to it. You're showing a lot of freedom of speech here, and you do it in a unique way. I like how you tried to imagine what's in the head of a caveman. I think it's close to what it must be like in there!

Oh those lyrics are lovely.
Yeah, great big fat bass groove.
I'd love to see a band perform these songs live; I bet it would be a blast.
I'm liking the tweedly twoodly guitar worms that show up.
I'll say it again; I really enjoy your guitar work.
Another great one here.

Nonsense? More like an existential meditation. That lioness has a certain wisdom...but everybody has to eat. You're good at creating compelling bass grooves. I'm enjoying all the sounds that punctuate this one. No harpsichord solo, though? :) That outro had me in your thrall. I await your commands...though I think Sanibel Island is as close as I'm ever gonna get to South Florida
