Feb 2022 chair-yoga meditation cycle-of-fourths experimental instrumental
I'm tagging @ajna1960 into this as a collab, for it was she who introduced me to this notion of music intended for use with chair-yoga meditation and exercise. And this one was put together this morning with Amanda in mind, because I always try to do at least one chair yoga track for her each FAWM.
So, unless you're into meditating to music that goes nowhere, this is probably not an appealing (boring) piece. ;-)
And there's a prize of a Dragondreams coffee mug for the first person correctly working out where the noble knight's name originates. And that's for real, not a joke! :-)
The potential prize:
This mug (along with other merch) is also available to purchase, should you not welcome the chance to work out the answer.

Very Koyaanisqatsi! I don't do yoga but you can feel the waves to breathe in and out. Builds beautifully!!

Cool! Great sounds in here, very meditative and I like all the percussive sounds in here.

I'm not sure that I can do any better than @davidbreslin101 and @feb21sundari's comments here...
This is really great.
The repetition of the bamboo xylophone sound is very appealing.
Hypnotic.
Nice subtle build here with the synths.
Yeah, so nice.

This sounds like a Buddhist monastery designed by M.C. Escher... monks ambling down an infinite bamboo staircase.

Very nice. That reminds me of the beginning Mike Oldfield, There s a lot of breathing time inside, that makes it very suitable for slow motion moves.

Ooh it's perfect ! And it reminds me of this time of year also, Spring, new growth and everything renewing :)
Thank you :)

I was not doing chair-yoga meditation while listening to this but I was sitting in a chair. And I did feel meditative. Some I'm thinking maybe that counts. Super pleasant to listen to. Put me in a nice relaxed state.
That coffee mug looks cool as can be.

A very pleasant listen. I like the build of additional instruments at timely intervals so it's always interesting. The vocal pads later does give it another dreamy, ethereal flavour.
