I think the start of this song turned out pretty cool. After that I didn't really know what else to do but improvise over it. And when I started improvising I also did not really know how to stop.
When you have a nice theme and a nice riff, it can be hard to stop. (My trick if often to reuse the intro as an ending). And you've definitely found the groove here. I like the "ring" of it (it sounds like a telephone is ringing in the background ;P) . It's uplifting. Lots of repetition to get in the mood. But it has enough little interesting intermezzos to keep it from becoming a broken record.
I also really liked the intro. Surprising. But I also really like your ending, it's also different without falling out of tune.
this is wicked!! been on a deep dive of frank zappa's LPs recently. the way this sounds all sped up and (partly?) produced by tape manipulation is very very cool, and reminds me of some zappa instrumentals :)
if you don't mind me asking, how did you get all those sped up/tape/double speed effects? cheers
