Dangerous, breath-stealing, on the edge of my seat. So cool. I would live to hear a n album of linked pieces. Cosmos, or solar system. It’s such a great theme.
Somehow my mind keeps going to foreboding places while listening to your stuff... Maybe it is my brains fault, who knows, lots of other commentators seem to think positive and bubbly. You nail the kind of under water or on the waves type of soundscape here, I am just worried what might be under the surface....
The pulses go to a banging place I've not heard from you before. I like it too. Strange to hear lo end on the outer edges, but that's more from habit, end user necessity, and my own work than an issue with this particular piece. It must be super nice to let these beautiful rich tones play without having to either make space and or eq for a vocal/bass/kick up the center. I'm envious but happy for the integrity of the sounds. Cool.
Being Canadian I thought this said Métis, not Metis, at first. But yes, of course this is a song about a space rock, and a delightfully spacey song at that! I don't know the right technical terminology for the sounds and textures but I enjoyed it!
It's definitely cinematic and atmospheric. And it grabbed my attention, then held it all the way through. I love the way it evolves and grows. There's a darkness to it, without it ever getting overwhelming or muddy.
Great soundscape!
High drama space rock about a space rock! I'm REALLY digging the aggressive drive that this one has got. You hang a delicious selection of arpeggiated figures around that insistent, pulsing beat, but things never get muddied or confusing. Over much too quickly. I'd quite happily sit through this transformed into an extended half-hour set.
