We tried something different this time. Char wrote the words inspired by the House Immortal series by Devon Monk. Then handed over the lyrics to Natalie to put to a tune. This is Natalie's first attempt at blues.
Etched in time
A mad creation of desperation
Brought me to rebirth
Stitched from time and transformation
Life to death reversed
Time, time, where has it brought us?
Stitch, stitch, silver stitches
-etched into my skin
Stitch, stitch, silver stitches
spiraling, meshed in
Stitch, stitch, silver stitches
Etched in time
The time rebounding, claxons sounding
Where will the story end?
Time was lost and now is rounding
The last and final bend
Time, time, where will it take us?
Stitch, stitch, silver stitches
-etched into my skin
Stitch, stitch, silver stitches
spiraling, meshed in
Stitch, stitch, silver stitches
Etched in time
Family, connection, insurrection
Risk, reward, and lies
It takes hubris and pretension
With life the only prize
Time, time, when will it teach us?
Time, time when will it reach us?
Stitch, stitch, silver stitches
-etched into my skin
Stitch, stitch, silver stitches
spiraling, meshed in
Stitch, stitch, silver stitches
Etched in time

Weird that I am listening to this song about time less than two minutes after posting my song about time! I don't know the source material either but but you've got me quite interested.

I am not familiar with the source material. You did get a nice bluesy sound out of the Uke though, which I find impressive.
