First of the Acoustic Brouhaha Tryptic.
This is not a song about a pretty subject.
So the production isn't super pretty.
We still manage to find the beauty in the ugliness though, right? And it shines even brighter in relation to the dirt it shines through.
That being said, this song's about not letting the instigating agents of one's life story win, even when you feel your hands are tied...whether it's a loved one, or yourself.

Not going to fully comment on the lyrics without having them here to read but from what I picked up on a listen it sounds like a bold take on a tough subject. The music is really nicely done, love the guitar work and the drum work drives the song really well. Vocals are excellent, really good use of harmonies and the switch into the half-spoken words for some of the later lines is very effective.
