Feb 2022 instrumental passacaglia
The four-chord challenge got me thinking of the classical form called the Passacaglia, which is a set of variations on a short, repeated bass line. I decided to try writing one in MuseScore. If nothing else, I know how to do a lot more things with MuseScore than I knew before.

Had to listen to this one twice to really savour it. You can't beat a good bit of baroque dance music, particularly when it's all about the bass. This is lovely, particularly that fast flourish that begins at 1:23.

I really liked this, it's right up my alley. It's a pretty nice classical tune, love the dynamics you used to create an ebb-and-flowing cadence to it. I'd like to try making an orchestral version of this, if you allow, wish I found this sooner so I could do this for FAWM but I can try this anyway, if you'd like.

Sounds very Italian Renaissance. (though don't ask me why, the little bit of music theory I have I learned from Joe)
