Started messing with this track weeks ago on my husband's laptop but couldn't get my mic working on that computer, so I kept making the phone recordings. Life has not cooperated AT ALL this year between computer problems and too much work coming in that I had to take on that just left me with very little time and pretty much kept me exhausted all month to where I just couldn't muster up enough energy in me most days to try and push out music. (So many excuses..whaaa. Ok, I'm done whining). LOL
Frustrated with myself that I've failed a second fawm in a row. But dangit, next year....next year.... Dropped these vocals in today and spitting it out.
Here's a short thing.
I don't want
I don't want to be the one to give up
And I don't need
Anyone other than me
And all I see
Are the ways that I make it
Impossibly hard for me
Constantly
What's wrong with me?

Pumping out your five songs in February seems like a pretty epic achievement even if you'd focused on nothing else for all 28x24 hours. You did a great job.

Oh, I hope you find the time to build upon this idea, it sounds very promising to me. I really would have liked to hear that going on longer and evolving.
Sorry to hear that life wasn't favorable to your songwriting, but this minute alone is a testament to your amazing talent. Therefore I join you in hoping for a better next FAWM.

Firstly i don't reckon you have failed! You have put out 4 good songs (or the strong bones at least) into the world that didn't exist before! This one is very good, lyrics tell plenty with minimal words and the delivery is excellent.

Good write! You've captured the feeling that you've "failed" FAWM in a song which generalizes it nicely: a "win", IMHO.

Ooohhh the mood! This is dark and brooding in a good way. I can see this being a keeper, as it sets the stage for some big, BIG things and places. That could take some time and you have set it up for a number of different directions. Very well done! Nice to see and hear you back!
