Edit:
melody/cadence destroyed and directly ripped off from हाय हाय ये मजबूरी "haye haye yeh majboori" from the film "roti kapada aur makaan" (bread, clothing and housing)which now that I know where the rhythm came from in my dream-state is no longer a mystery to me anyway. the song in the film is really nothing thematically to do with my lyrics, but I like the strong rhythm guitar beat reminiscent of the 60s-70s almost psychedelic rock.
I don’t know why I get ideas in the middle of the night. Like the rhythm, not too keen on the lyrics completely tho some good lines are there. Guess my brain wanted to write a song based on a hindi song that I like.
Speaking at a distance
Turns out when I was dreaming
My mind was also scheming
Water for the desert
Thoughts flood the flowers
And everything winds up weeping
Weeping weeping weeping
Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa
Weeping weeping weeping
Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa
Tried put myself at some distance
my ears just wouldn’t listen
The words of another
Don’t have half a chance
When I spend the whole night thinking
Thinking thinking thinking
Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa
Thinking thinking thinking
Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa
Sign or wave
Nod and smile
Semaphore telegraph
Find some silent way to make it
Stop…
And
Get Intertwined in your music
doomdooma doomdooma doom doom
The dna of your mindset
deendeena deendeena deen deen
Its the key to the chord
That let my self-centered soul
finally find some meaning…
So my heart can go on beating…
Beating beating beating
Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa
Beating beating beating

It’s fun to imagine the melody and cadence below these words. I like the way you use repetition. It feels lakes flooding and receding. The images are very clear.
