I have been struggling to put my words to music lately, but this is the final days before FAWM is over... Last night I came up with some weird electronic, Indian drum, flute thing, and then I took the lyrics I wrote for the Polysemy challenge (Accept) and went from there!
I hope someone else can enjoy the weirdness.
Second chances for dampened dreams
Second glances for a sparkling stream
Laugh to yourself
Smile for yourself
Accept that things aren’t easy
Accept the gift of strife
Accept responsibility
Accept that this is life
Second chances for twisted trees
Second dances for a blowing breeze
Laugh to yourself
Smile for yourself
Accept that things aren’t easy
Accept the gift of strife
Accept responsibility
Accept that this is life
The challenges of our time
The challenges of our time are real
Hope for just a moment
Hope for just a moment is not a crime to steal
Accept
Accept
Accept

Nice arrangements, and the bitcrushed sounds at the end really key in to the pressures and struggles that are hinted at in the lyrics.
The one thing that is bugging me (and you're welcome to just mark this down as a difference in personal taste; it's probably because it's something I used to do myself and could never get it to sound right) is that two-beat pause between syllables when you sing "second". It throws out the flow of the lyrics. Putting the two beats before or afterwards (so 1 - 2 - se - cond, or se - cond - 3 - 4) would give this more flow for me. It would also match how you subsequently treat "laugh" and "smile".

That is one very interesting chord progression that I dig a lot. Totally interesting harmonically, also the way the high strings counter the bass in the choruses. Very cool sound design with the bitcrushed (?) glitch effects. The whole song feels oddly hypnotic, it doesn’t even feel weird, but very well crafted.
