Love that guitar. The processing on it (are you ADTing it somehow?) really makes it leap out of the speakers, and it makes the most of its moment in the spotlight.
One of our guests on FAWMtalk recently cited Mike Batt (who wrote all the Wombles' music) as her biggest musical influence. I haven't heard mention of him (or Elizabeth Beresford's creations) for years, and yet here they are again. Weird.
This rocks, and rocks HARD. I can just see you waltzing about on stage at the arena, leather vest and bandana on. There's a real dialogue between the bombastic artillery of the guitar and the steady patter of the drums that gives it almost a jazz-like quality in places. This works well as an instrumental, but I can imagine an 80s rock style delivery where the vocals are hoarsely sing-shouted in short bursts.
It's so interesting to listen to the song with #zecoopdrums cause they differ a lot in style and tone. I'm sure that I already heard these drums, but your guitar tones makes a different voice. The rhythm is cool. I can imagine vocals on this. But maybe it's because I mostly listen to rock music with vocals...
Ooh, this is very fun! That guitar sounds awesome and it is quite an infective groove. I will need to look up The Wombles to hear your inspiration, but this song is just great and could go so many ways with vocals. Loved this!
Big Wombles fan so you had at the title - it could do with vocals as they're a narrative - but did everything I liked about the instrumental aspects of the album I grew up running around the settee to. Exciting, fun rock!

This was definitely fun! I think it would work very well with vocals.
