How you might have to wake up if you were being invaded by a dick head.
I have a sample pack called "Abstract Beats" by Code Sounds. They are 4 bar drum/percussion/noise bits that I'm using as a basis for all my tracks. A preview of the pack is available here:

Constructive criticism is always welcome. Tell me all about it!
Shadow of Disaster
I wake up in the mornin'
Just thinkin' 'bout survival
Imagining the coming of doom
Awaiting its arrival
Scenes of mass destruction
Like I read in the Bible
Then I get up and go out
Trying to survive
In my heart I know I've
Got to stay alive
Livin' in the shadow of disaster.
I'm still gonna thrive

I think survival rock is the genre the world needs right now! Amazing skirmish!

I'm feeling a Motorhead vibe with this one, sounds great. You creatively matched your lyric with a music that evokes a similar mood. I enjoyed this a lot!

What @hmstreetteam said! Great skirmishing!
As you note, the dark lyrics are all too real right now. Let’s hope peace returns to Ukraine soon.

Raw and love the slap beats.. Yeah and the lyrics punch.

Wow the second rhyme of survival/Bible. A theme is emerging. A well-done high-powered rocker!

This is a solid sound, the vocal and guitar very much in the pocket. It reminds me a little of a couple of early 1990s bands. The doomsday lyrics fit the way any of us might be thinking sooner or later. This is a gem.

RAWK. This evokes 80s hair bands for me. The guitar plays off the percussion really well.

Hey, John - this feels pretty epic. I like that pounding beat. An anthem in the face of disaster. Like something I'd listen to right before I went into the boxing ring to fight for the title. Put 'em up.
