it ain't to work
that i'm a slave
it's to the need
to ride the wave
up at dawn
to check the break
from the headland
a decision make
there are others
boards prepared
we'll all head down
if the waves are there
in the afternoon
i’ll return
it’s an aching need
a ceaseless yearn

Beautiful song, singing and playing. Very nice take on the prompt.

Thats got a great sound for a wee guitar. Really nice lyric and melody. Well done.

This is pretty, and yearning. The images are really clear, it makes it easy for me, who has never surfed, to imagine going out on the waves.

Cool surf song !
Dope guitar !
Wave addiction is real

This captures well the obsession surfers seem to get into. I had a week trying to ride the waves two years ago. I managed a few 10 second rides and fell off a lot more.

The whole song has a yearning feel to it, which matches the words perfectly. Gentle rolling swell bringing in the waves, with the breeze and the salt in your hair.

I really like this take on the prompt, and once again your voice and guitar are very easy on the ear. Good stuff!

This is good. Really gets across the burning desire to hit the surf.

I have always wanted to surf. I love the ocean. Love the tone of your voice so much. This is gorgeous in its simplicity.
