Why do you say such cruel things
Why do you do the dirty on me
Why do you claim that I got it all wrong
Why do you fail to see the glory of me?
How can you write that with a straight face?
How can you use a mirror but not see?
How can you live with your own disgrace?
How can you fail to see the glory of me?
The glory of me
My righteousness
The glory of me
It's me you should bless!
How can you stand there and fail to see
Why do you fail to see the glory of me?
What are you trying to get at here?
What are you trying to do to me?
What are you playing at, all these words?
What are you hiding from the glory of me?
When are you going to come out clean?
When are you going to stop upsetting me?
When are you going to do what's right?
When are you going to see the glory of me?
The glory of me
My righteousness
The glory of me
It's me you should bless!
How can you stand there and fail to see
Why do you fail to see the glory of me?
Who are you being controlled by?
Who are you working for, what's their fee?
Who are you secretly conspiring with?
Who are you, denying the glory of me?
The glory of me
My righteousness
The glory of me
It's me you should bless!
How can you stand there and fail to see
Why do you fail to see the glory of me?

Great musical theatre vibe here. I can almost see a choreography to go along with this. This really would be right at home in a musical where this song really reveals what an ass this character is. Great work.

Great lyrics here, exploring the lack of awareness of narcissists and gaslighting folk. I enjoyed the stereo piano tracks along with the synthy center. You can really hear the frustration in the vocal take as well. Fun piano solo; well done.

Perfect lyrics and delivery. Yikes! An all too familiar personality disorder these days…

Ah, I see you've met my ex-wife.
Really great piano line there.
Hilariously funny and yet tragic at the same time, so totally up my alley.
Yes, I could see this in a musical; the singer alone on an empty stage after being abandoned by all his friends. At the end of the song he weeps loudly, hoping that someone will comfort him so he can start up the emotional vampirism again.

this would be even funnier were it not for the plethora of hideous faces it evokes.
