Feb 2022 blues folk non-english acoustic
This is basically to record the idea.
My acoustic guitar is a snarling piece of sh*t.
But for this kind of song it has something to it.
My third child unfortunately doesn't hear very good.
So this was the idea for this lyrics.
It turned out different than I thought.
Mutter Natur hat dich schon nackt,
dick in Watte eingepackt.
Auf die Welt, still und leise.
Hörst du den Krach auf den Weise.
Damit der Lärm der kleinen Welt,
dich nicht vom schlafen hält.
Und wird dann doch noch alles zerstört,
musst du die Schreie doch nicht hören.
Nur dumpf und ohne Spannungsspitzen,
hörst du es flüstern durch die Ritzen.
Hörst du das Rauschen in der Nacht,
Wind bläst ums Haus mit voller Macht.
Hörst du das prasseln auf dem Dach,
der Winterregen hält mich wach.
Wenn der Welt das Ende naht,
nimmst du das jammern nicht wahr.
-----Google translate----
mother nature already has you naked
wrapped in cotton.
To the world, still and quietly.
Do you hear the noise on the way.
So that the noise of the small world
doesn't keep you from sleeping.
And then everything will be destroyed,
you don't have to hear the screams.
Only dull and without voltage peaks,
do you hear it whispering through the cracks
Do you hear the noise in the night
Wind blows around the house with full force.
Can you hear the crackling on the roof
the winter rain keeps me awake.
When the world comes to an end
Don't you hear the moaning?

Liebe Grüße an Ida.

I went off and got a machine translation as my german is pretty useless (not to worry, my French is worse). With its help: the snarly guitar goes very well with the dark lyric, with those solo sessions a welcome break from the looming end.
