Feb 2022 palindrome piano collab
Words written by @elesimo on 22/2/22 as a palindrome.
I absolutely loved what they had written, and wrote a palindromic set of chords to accompany it. Sadly, I couldn’t get away with a palindrome melody too, which needs J.S. Bach or someone else far more talented than I, but I did get a chance to use the otherwise total novelty feature of Universal Audio’s “Ravel” piano, which has reversed sounds mixed in!
I added some low end from my accoustic U-Bass, some plate reverb, and some rain and ocean sounds since they seemed appropriate. Chords written out with the words below so you can see for yourself that it’s the same forward and back (I octuple-checked myself!)
Thanks again to @elesimo, and I hope they like it!
P.S. As a bonus, the length of this is exactly 2:22 :-)

Very nice indeed. Just great lyrics that have a poignant message.
The piano/bass just adds enough as to not overwhelm the lyrics .
Great collab.

Really really nice!!! Beautiful arrangement and vocals. I like the use of effects in the song too. It really helped set the mood.

This is so beautiful. Your voice gave me hope for what I don't know but I feel hopeful.

Very cleverly written by @elesimo , and I love how @rubberbandage pushed the palindrome-ness to its max. I was reading along while listening, and rather than going all the way down, I started reading backwards from the middle, and it was a delight. Great job!

Oh, the palindromed words are so clever, and so poignant. And the musical treatment is lovely. Bravo!

Tremendous job on putting this to music and I don't know how you did the lyrics on this Beto! Amazing work.
