Am G
I can barely climb the stairs tonight
F E7
Think I’ll rest against this wall
Am G
And it isn’t just the wine this time
F E7
Though as well as I recall it might be…
Asus Csus Dsus Esus Dsus Em
Asus Csus Dsus Esus Dsus Em
I would sleep against this rail tonight
But the neighbors wouldn’t have it
So I will reinstate my climb alright
When I can see the rail to grab it…
Asus Csus Dsus Esus Dsus Em
I am tumbling, tumbling, tumbling, tumbling down
Asus Csus Dsus Esus Dsus Em
I am tumbling, tumbling, tumbling, tumbling down

It’s the thing I’m not sold on
Am
It’s the forest for the trees
F
Now I’ve lost the chance to hold on
Esus4
It’s a cry to help me please!
I am tumbling, tumbling, tumbling, tumbling down
I am tumbling, tumbling, tumbling, tumbling down
I am tumbling, tumbling, tumbling, tumbling down
I am tumbling, tumbling, tumbling, tumbling down

Good words
Got a little "round and round and round and round" going on there....

Aw, love the bowtie in the photo! (Memories...) That series of sus chords in the intervals is just awesome. And the lower harmony on the "tumbling" lines really enriches the chorus, giving it an even darker, more ominous feel. Great guitars, too, as always! Very powerful song!

Powerful metaphors here...a bit of a Sisyphusian undercurrent here. I can relate in a way....good tune!
