Here is my remix of my previous thirteen cells of music.
I used one sample from each cell, paul-stretching, reversing, pitch-shifting, glitching and cutting-pasting my way into creating a longer soundscape.
Everything, every single sound, came from my Gibson electric guitar. No external samples were used.
Compositional ideas formulated on a one-day 75km hike along the coast of Japan. For more details, please visit:

nice.

Wow, this is amazing. How the droning and paulstretched sounds introduce those interesting clear phrases on the guitar. Really digging your work!

This is beautifully layered. You're so good at creating these kinds of atmospheric soundscapes. Very immersive.

Ah now, glad I came in to this synthesis of the rest. Downloading this for later repeat listening. Very Zen.

I listened to this first because of the title - and I see blackbirds - mainly ravens and crows around my place daily - there was one on the telephone pole outside just a moment ago, but I'll go back and listen to all of them cause I love this! The little blackbirds which I've heard sing in other areas - like contra costa, benicia, vallejo, and napa have a sound I've often thought sounded electronic.
FYI, the link you have for wordpress redirected me to my wordpress log in. Shouldn't the link just be https://howthenightcame.wordpress.com/

I probably should have listened to the individual cells instead of jumping straight to this one, but here I am. It sounds great. None of the individual effects seem out of place in my opinion. I probably wouldn't even realize the whole thing without reading the descriptions.
