A reworking of a song written by Jordan in the band's infancy. Written about identity conflict and gender dysphoria. In case you're worried about my wellbeing by these lyrics, I am fine, this was mostly written about times well in the past.
Music/Lyrics by Skye, original concept by Jordan
I've been lonely ever since I met you
Which is funny since I can't seem to let you go
I wish I could know how I met you
So I could change the past and let my old self go
Life's just full of making yourself
Again and again and again
How do I break the cycle?
How do I make myself whole again?
I've reinvented myself so many times, it's a miracle I still work
My warranty hasn't expired yet
There's still time for me to be broken again
I have so many god damn problems that Task Manager's failing
Somebody call the engineers, tell them the Android Girl is broken
I'm just tired of reinventing myself
Again, and again, and again
Gotta be a way to break the cycle
Gotta be a way to become whole again
Could you teach me how to be human?

I love how the 4 on the floor beat drops at the end of the first chorus. The analogy of dysphoria and being an Android is spot on. Love the bloopy synths in the outro.

Love the bounce on this one, it offers an interesting contrast with the potentially dystopian themes on offer. Very cool song.
