A whiskey blues song. The song is a man talking to his reflection in a mirror in a bar while drinking whiskey.
Hello my friend
Haven't seen you in
Quite a while
You that wicked grin
On your face again
What a smile
Well, don't mind these three
They're with me
Come on in
Meet Jack and Jim and Johnny
They're my old friends
Well, you heard, I guess
About that mess
Up in town
Didn't mean no fuss
We was just
Messing around
Oh, but the county judge
Said he'll lock us up
If it happens again
Me and Jack and Jim and Johnny
My old friends
Jack he wears black
But Jim he's always in white
And when Johnny comes out
We're always bound
For a fight
Don't remember how it started exactly
But I know how it ends
With Jack and Jim and Johnny
My old friends

Well I now feel like I'm in a smoky backstreet bar in Louisiana, with an ineffective ceiling fan and low lights. You're worryingly good at these drinking songs, you know... ;)

This has such a classic feel to it. Love the bluesy feel. Great storytelling too. Love your vocal as always.

Well, you gone and done it again Mr. K. A brand new song that makes this I've known it for years - maybe Dean Martin sang it in a movie, I love the stripped down sound and the skeletal almost-story that has me filling the blank. Enjoyed your singing, it's like you were playing the role of narrator. One of my favourites.
