I wanted to records sounds of steps in the snow, and ski lifts and so on... But on my recordings you just hear the wind. So no additional sounds here, sorry !

— English translation below —
refrain / pont / refrain

Remember your smile under your chapped lips
The animal tracks in the fresh snow
The wind ciselling wawes, lifting powder
The chorus of the chairlifts and the rhythm of the poles
At the bend of a slope a valley offered to the eye
The clouds leapfrogging over the mountaintops
And these glittering lights as if stolen from a chest
And the cold, crisp air teasing your chin
Chorus:
Will the day come, some seasonless year
When my child will want to know the reason
Why I went up to the snowy mountains
On the skiing tracks to eat powder?
Remember your eyes proud with a thousand stars
The packages of snow that cling on the branches
The slopes of the morning: spread out icing sugar
The morgue of the massifs, the outcrop of the rocks
Crunchy skidding, exhilaration of the slope
Altitude at the top, the breath that gets lost
The excitement of speed and the wind whistling like a snake
The curve of the track and the fervor of the air

6/8 savoureuses

Lots of rich imagery here. Hard not to picture the ski hill, feel the numbing of the chin and the taste of a mouthful of snow. Fun waltz rhythm.

Quelle belle chanson!

#tit4tat i like the drums and the pace here! I almost feel cold. The back instrument is great cant pick exactly what it is! It really adds to a nice song! So many good lines here. This is my 5th tit4tat but if i get time i will listen to the rest just coz i want to. Loved listening to your songs.

In my case I usually literally ate the snow when I'd fall down regularly while skiing :D
Fun and enjoyable song!

I like this slow soft song.. No snow sound but the wind sound is a good substitute. Then the guitar solo playing in my right ear to close out the song is very jazzy... tres bien!

I like the way this develops! Sounds great.

This sounds really cool. Love the accents in the back (think they are guitar but I'm sure I'm wrong). You've got some great phrases here (at least the English translations); I especially like the "wind whistling like a snake" line.
