Feb 2022 blues country-folk
Co write with Phil & Michael. Basement blues for the win.
Here you are
curled up beside me
and I miss you
Here you are
your breath on my shoulder
and I miss you
Why do I seek shelter before the storm?
Why am I stacking wood while it's still warm?
Why do I miss you before you're gone
Here we are
smiling for everyone
and I miss you
Here we are
can't think of one thing wrong
and I miss you
I know we got a good thing going on
I know what life can do
I know what it feels like to lose someone...
and I miss you

Well this is a tasty little number! Love that laid-back groove. Vocals and guitar solos absolutely on point.

You guys are rolling with this. Great lyrics followed by vocal performance and that killer guitar. I have never officially tried a blues song but this is really inspiring!

Oh yeah. Love this slow bluesy groove. Vocal and instrumental work is spot on. Great concept too-relatable as well. Awesome job y’all.

Nice slow groove and a cool vocal line, really well delivered. Like it. Some great guitar playing too.

I really like the rhythmic path you have chosen for this one - it fits so well with the contradiction in the lyrics. Solo is real nice. Voice is nice too - I like the ostinato on ‘know’ - great job

Oh I love the groove of this. Slow and beautiful, bluesy and soulful. Fukin bitchin. Great tones.
