I think I spent more time than I wanted to on this. Wouldn't call it a full song but, I think it stands on its own. Started with a loop I made that sounded good by itself, but had a weird kind of tonality. I had to pitch the other instruments to fit the sample and couldn't really get it to work.
Trying to make it "work" this way was frustrating so I decided to incorporate that weird dissonance into the piece as a whole, so you'll hear a lot of weird pitching stuff going on, maybe the whole thing sounds a little off. That became the underlying theme to this song, I guess.
While trying to get all the instruments to work together I would play the loop repeatedly, and it would get stuck in my head to the point of annoyance. There were points when I didn't want to keep working on the track, but kept going.
I remember the times I've had fever dreams feeling a similar kind of sensation. The dreams are repetitve and unpleasant and keep me from getting any rest. I don't think the loop is unpleasant, but the repetition was comparable. So that's what I named the track.

This is interestingly hypnotic- I like the way you have used the tech to do things you couldn’t do with acoustic instruments- it’s a great start to something that could gro into something
