Another one written for the heavier album I'm working on. I was trying to write the ballad of the album but not sure I succeeded.
Give me a moment to consider your lies
I feel so lost, the right path I can't find
I gave everything, I gave everything that I had
But love's not enough for you, that's too bad
I think I'm done
I think I'm done
I think I'm better off being done
I think I'm done
I think I'm done
I think I'm better off being done
It's just another broken hearted serenade
And every day that I wake feels the same
You are something, you are something to erase
This river of love has stopped flowing you say
I think I'm done
I think I'm done
I think I'm better off being done
I think I'm done
I think I'm done
I think I'm better off being done
Somewhere far away in memory
When the lights go out you'll see
As we turn the page and all the magic fades
In between what's wrong and right
The long kept secrets of the night
Can you catch me as I fall like a stone?
I think I'm done
I think I'm done
I think I'm better off being done
I think I'm done
I think I'm done
I think I'm better off being done
I think I'm done
I think I'm done
I think I'm better off being done
I think I'm done
I think I'm done
I think I'm better off being done

Love that tone on the solo. Chorus is great. Agree with previous commenter re: the change-up in the beat at the end.

Nah, you definitely succeeded. This is a great song. I love the lyrics where you repeat the lines. It’s conversational, which is perfect in the context of the song. The pounding chorus at the ended was a really smart choice. I love everything here.
