verse 1: They say she was so pretty…that she was beautiful
For me they all feel pity…cause I’m crying like a fool
Can´t tell I really knew her…can´t say we were really close
But if I´m not yet through with her, then that´s the way it goes…
(Chorus)
She was pretty… so pretty…so bright and so fun
She was pretty… as pretty… as the morning sun
verse 2:
They say she was so pretty… that her beauty could not wane
my heart was young and gritty…unaware of grief and pain
In My head I was a pirate, she was my treasure and my sin
The rest I guess is private…now she’s gone in the wind
(Chorus)
She was pretty… so pretty…so bright and so fun
She was pretty… as pretty… as the morning sun

Fine 12 string strum/picking. A fine addition to the "what if" relationship-dissections song genre. I can remember a couple of occasions when this song would have been the perfect summary of my circumstances. I got dumped so many times, just as I had fallen in deep.

Really beautiful work guys. I can totally see this being sung live . The chord structure took me by surprise at times but works so so well. My fav bit is the turn for the chorus bit to B minor (i think). Works so well and then smoothly leads back to the lush verses. Great lyrics great melody.

Nice collab. The chord choices almost make my ears hear this as a murder ballad, which isn't at all what I thought looking over them first. Well done!
