A song for fandoms.
Still feeling worn out but tried a little voice memo for this one while laying on my sofa with a ukulele
You don’t have to rain on the parade
It’s okay to walk away
When it’s not your thing
Move on to the next thing
Not everything’s for you
Cause we’re all different
Digging things differently
What’s good for you
Might not be for me
And that’s alright
You like what you like
And I’ll like what I like
You don’t have to rain on the parade
It’s okay to not have your say
You don’t have to open your mouth
You can keep your thoughts to yourself
Not everything’s for you
They say diversity is the spice of life
So some things may not feel right
You’re not always the target audience
This may hurt to hear but you’re not the centre of the Universe

@allaboutgeorge Thanks! This will get a full band recording as soon as I'm fully recovered from COVID. Glad to know it works in the ukulele format too :)

This one lives on its open vowel sounds, and your voice sounds in fine shape to me. The ukulele is a delightful tonal choice, as the song sounds like it could also work done super loud and distorted and punky.

Nice write, and a perfect sentiment for our age. Fun rhymes, and a lovely, laid back performance.
