It was a scratch name for an arpeggiator experiment until I remembered "The Cold Equations" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Cold_Equations
We've been calculating odds of benefits and harms
like we're in spacesuits instead of each other's arms
We've been gaming out these distant life scenarios
until I wanna scream just to hear you say there he goes
I'm waiting to hear it: there, love
nothing in this life is fair love
I still really really care love
but please don't be shocked love
don't let your world be rocked love
i'm only opening the airlock love
We've traveled past the planets and stars and galaxies
with nothing between them but hearts we can't please
I didn't figure we'd beat the heat death of the universe
you pushing me into weightless emptiness is way worse

So I think the first verse is genius. Love the synth tone of the arpeggio but I really notice it against the second vocal section, even more than the opening, because of the other elements in the track - really really nice.
And speaking of the second vocal section how spooky is that. What a cool construction, I'm a fan.

Ooo. This song draws me in. I want to explore these images and metaphors. I really like your vocals too.

This is a really neat arrangement. And I love your voice.
