i decided to combine my #megaman2 and #onesynth challenges:
https://fawm.org/forums/topic/12136/
https://fawm.org/forums/topic/12758/
three voices (bass and two leads), all using different patches from the ARP 2600 (analog "east coast" synth) emulation plugin in the "arturia v" collection:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ARP_2600
i did a 3-track "feast" and here are the other two:
https://fawm.org/songs/134465/ - synclavier man
https://fawm.org/songs/134466/ - dx7 man
UPDATE: i did another 2-track feast like this:
https://fawm.org/songs/135122/ - cmi man
https://fawm.org/songs/135123/ - minimoog man

Well done mega man style, very much fits side scrolling on a stage, all the sounds feel right for the memories.

Dope chiptune! Very catchy ! I really love the part around 0:28 ! Sounds very mysterious and you definitely feel some tension here!

That’s so cool! :) really powerful and reminds me of the game„the Messenger“ though it’s for megaman.

This makes me think of a level in an amusement park. Megaman walking across a roller coaster dodging enemy filled carts with balloon enemies and such. Love the energy in this.

I really like it and then the middle section comes in which is especially cool. It’s got loads of energy.

Very good counterpoint, it does sound like these two top voices are carrying a melody between them; individually their lines read horizontally very very well too.

Sounds great. I've been borderline fascinated by the ARP 2600. I considered getting one. But ended up finding a used (Korg) Arp Odyssey to do those kinds of (well, similar) sounds. 2600 just looked too complicated. I have the Arturia plugin and don't use it much...
