three voices (bass and two leads), all using different patches from the yamaha DX7 (FM synth) emulation plugin in the "arturia v" collection:

i did a 3-track "feast" and here are the other two:

Love a bit of DX7! This has a really cool, jaunty vibe to it and that little skippy bit in the rhythm is a great touch.

This one almost feels like it would be a Wiley castle level style music. It's a bit more open, almost with some castlevania feeling going on in spots. It also brings us musically into the 16bit era which is cool!.

I really like this one. Hearing the chords go wandering all over the place is mixing in my head with the idea of gameplay in the coolest way. It's like, there he goes, hey WHUT just happened to the screen? oh - ok we're supposed to navigate this, ok. Solve a game that has a map that ~squirms~ while you're exploring!

I always wanted to like the DX7, and even had one for a few years, but FM synthesis never clicked with me. Noce to see some great sounds from it, this has some good dynamics and was a fun listen!
