I was fiddling around with some fun guitar effects and ended up with this weird almost languishing yet hurried track. I dont know what genre it is, but that seems fitting for me.
I was never one to take the leap,
They’re just always one to be calling me,
And I was too far to simply be,
I couldn’t wait, they were waiting for me,
You were always there, just out of reach,
Just so close, it was practically a tease,
Funny how not so cool I seem,
After how smooth I tried to be,
No stoicism for me when you’re so close,
I’ll shed my composure, you broke my heart of stone,
And I’m taken by the freedom,
When I was shattered at my core,
I was deconstructed and rebuilt,
And left begging for more,
Compound fracture of my tin man heart
Its no Rebound matter, its like syntax art
Found feet after stagger, hit reload and start,
My past don't matter, it's game set, mark,
In my 14 I had to save one for you,
Kept it weird in tone, cause you're the glue,
That holds all the parts to this art and makes in new
The Pendrop art holds seats for two

Chaos within a beat, then some nice rap. I like the weirdness to the song. And who said it has to fit into a genre?? Be rebellious!!

"Nongenre", lol I already love this. You've got SUCH a cool messy sound on this with the layered vocal, like its a whole damn vibe.
