Feb 2022 pop synthpop light-and-fluffy lots-of-guitars
Pure unadulterated synthpop. Don't judge me.
Each week subtracted
We count the days
We get distracted
In oh so many ways
Schedules aren't an easy thing to keep
When getting there means giving up on sleep
Fat lady's yet to sing
She hasn't made a sound
Last orders yet to ring
Let's have another round
Countdown clock's still ticking
Final score's not set
You're still alive and kicking
So remember: it's not over yet
You should be having fun
The challenge is unique
You'll be amazed what can be done
In just over a week
A point that I've been learning over time
Is being less discerning over rhymes...

Some of the best synthpop I've heard!! (And plenty of awesome rock guitar right in there to keep me happy!) I love the message in your lyrics! "It's Not Over Yet" is something I need to hear and remember every time dark cloud appear in my head! Oh and and just realized your vocals remind me a bit of Ian Anderson (one of my all-time favorite rocker/singer/songwriters!) This is a fun song all around!

Why would we judge you for synthpop? Synthpop is awesome! And this still has your usual drive and "aggression," just in service of a more poppy, synthy, upbeat number. Got my toes tapping an humming along, and your vocals remain as compelling and dramatic as always; I don't know that I've commented on this yet, but I really like your vocal style!

Cool and positive track, well done synth pop style and uplifting sensation.

Love the guitar sounds you have here.... nice chord sequences! Great listen!

Heh, light and fluffy. No judging here! I love a good synth-pop song. I grew up on that stuff. Fun listen!

When I read the tags, I was confused. But it all makes sense now! And I would never judge anyone for making synthy music, but well. :)
I somehow enjoyed the lyrics. They eerily fit my current mood. Don't know if that's a good thing - but then again, it's not over yet, right?
Thank you for this beautiful song!

I love the throbbing bass riff and the big production, pro quality as always. A big message in those lyrics, I think it's about the final week of FAWM but could it be about life itself?

Nice bit of catchy synthpop! And lots of fun with the different ways of saying it's not over. What's not to like?

Gonna judge you anyway and the verdict you have a distinct, pro, crisp, full, catchy sound...and your guitars always fill my headphones with bliss.
The bend up you do at 1:14 (i obviously don't know the correct guitar terminology) is divine - I know its a common thing to hear, but its something that always sounds so good when I hear it.
Yeah like I said, this is so full. So much guitar goodness coming from all over the soundstage; I'm surrounding by it.
This has a vibe that makes me just sit back in my chair, close my eyes, and sway my head back and forth while the synths and guitars wash over me.
Its airy and spacious yet filled with so much good stuff.
