A quick one to start things off today. Hopefully we have not all been there...
The stranger staggers home,
Avoiding the crowds
Trying to forget why he came
Takes a short cut, down by Losers lane
Won’t be coming back again
He senses a shape, by the broken door
Doesn’t think to quicken his step
Before he can think, he’s down on the ground
Feeling the boots find their mark
He closes his eyes, to shield from the pain
He doesn’t understand it at all
The pockets are picked his phone is gone
Nobody to answer his call
The victor looks over the spoils
Trophies for a job well done
His knuckles are sore, there is blood on the ground
Time to move into the darkness again

Love it! Could do with some bass. IMO. Haven't we all at least been in this situation, at least potentially? Maybe I'm just showing my age.

Brooding and sinister, I like how you change perspectives between the victim and the perpetrator. If you were to extend it might be quite interesting to learn more about the criminal, maybe reveal another side to them?
The move to, what i think might be, Em is a very satisfying chord change with your melody. Plenty of potential with this one!
