I've had the hook for this since a couple years ago, pretty sure it popped into my head when I was cleaning out the fridge lol. glad to finally flesh it out, I think those lil doot doot synths in the chorus are really fun!
I'm interested to hear what ppl think of that crazy (sampled, haha) synth solo under the second prechorus. Also, does that guitar sound coming in under the first prechorus feel like too much all at once, or is it like "oh cool, guitar"?
no offense but ima sit this one out
flip it like bacon baby
do a 180
you can say i’m shouldn’t even talk, maybe
there is a lot i’m leaving out
wanted to be
raw as possible about it
i’ve been holding on too much
take a number and siddown
there’s a whole line ahead of you
to give a shit about
i’m gonna take you back
back where you came from
back into the trash
back where you came from
take you back
back where you came from
back into the trash
back where you came from
jesus baby
is this really your crowd
are you really certain
you should be so proud?
I am not the kinda quiet type myself
there is a lot I’m leaving out
wanted to be
raw as possible about it
i’ve been holding on to too much
take a number and siddown
there’s a whole line ahead of you
to give a shit about
I’m gonna
take you back
back where you came from
back into the trash
back where you came from
take you back
back where you came from
back into the trash
back where you came from

Sick shit right hurrrrrr! I keep thinking I’ve heard your best song of FAWM and then I hear and even boppier banger! You’ve got a knack for the lyrical line and also melodic unexpectedness and I’m a total fan!

Haha, this is gloriously fun to listen to. The vocal performance is brilliant, you can really hear you're enjoying yourself. I think my favourite thing might be that weird computer game high synth lead part (hmmm, I don't think I described that very well). Again it just adds a lot of fun to the existing fun. Great track!

This is great- I appreciate the natural groove of your vocals- and the production. I wouldnt change a thing.
Great job.

This is great. Very, very high quality performance, arrangement and writing all round. The lyrics are really clever and the vocal is perfect. You asked for people's thoughts on the synth, etc. My feeling is, don't change a thing!

Yoooo this is so Fire!!! The intro is so chill with dope syncopations leading you into the pre chorus. The progression of the Pre Kills! And the Chorus is just Golden!

"take a number and siddown

Best...
line...
evah!.. on a break up song.
Bass line is awesome. Are those double stops you're playing? Really cool sound. A violin player I used to play with called that technique "double stops" where she would play two notes at the same time. Being a guitar player I looked at her and was like *blink blink blink* thinking to myself, "I thought they were called chords." :D
Guitar players... think the world revolves around them. Amiright! :D
Really like the stuff you've been putting out this month.

A massive all round win, here. Such an infectious bassline - I love how minimal the track sounds as it begins and you can slowly hear (metaphorically!) the cogs turning to create this beautiful groove. Getting Tierra Whack vibes here, especially on 'Trash!' - is it possible to just get one word stuck in your head? I fear that's how my day will pan out. The doot doot synths are indeed great, and that sampled synth solo is a cool idea! As vom says before, it doesn't clash at all and gives just the right amount of variation. The guitar is great as well, I could barely tell it was a guitar, but it creates a nice bit of space that you whip away for that really tight-sounding chorus.

"oh cool, guitar" fosho!
Fun, crazy and good!
It only needs two listens to make it an earworm.
Hats off.

Haha the extra backing vocals on "trash!" are an absolute delight. I do indeed love those doot doot synths! The crazy synth solo is a nice touch I think, something unexpected and unusual to change up that prechorus, it doesn't feel like it clashes with the vocal or anything so I think it's a fun addition!

Love everything about this! The 808 clap snaps. Love the trappy vibe. The synth solo works for me! Chorus is poppin’! Love the hook around the way you say ‘trash’! So catchy just in the delivery of one word. I was lip syncing along. I feel there could be a dance for the chorus? (Don’t ask me)
