- erm messed around first with figure and thenwith beat wave. I particularly love the double bass arco sound - wish I could control it with a keyboard but still had fun and was quite pleased with the outcome nb maybe jump to where the drums kick it’s. I recorded it on the app but then realised I couldn’t get my brain to figure out how to upload I can’t use the FAWM site and it’s too rough gif soubdcloud so screen recorded the app playing the recording hence nothing visual !! On the other hand after all these impro la I am slowly becoming proficient and confident that I could do something like this live

Enjoyed the creativity in this piece. Good to hear it build throughout. Interesting beat and rhythm.
@wobbiewobbit Feb 2022
good to hear you experimenting. this locks into a groove and i agree that double bass sound is great. fantastic for an impro/skirmish
@tjeff Feb 2022
Wonderful experimentation. Love the intro, I agree that that the arco bass sound is cool - very rich. Quite the groove when the percussion kicks in!
@sheilerk Feb 2022
I look at FAWM as a month long seminar in songwriting, with many many many teachers, all students in their own right. I love hearing what experimentation is bringing to the community. And, that said, this is a very cool improvisation!!
@porrectus Feb 2022
Those are cool sounds, I like the growth in the piece, ever evolving. Well done.
@wylddandelyon Feb 2022
I am also using at least part of this fawm to learn more skills in the production and sharing parts of making music. I love that low bass sound. So growly and pleasant.
@erbaer Feb 2022
This is an interesting piece. I like how it evolves using all the parts and pieces that came before. The sawing double bass... the percussion....
Fun listen and great skirmish!
@jwhanberry Feb 2022
This finally gets to cookin' Good swingy beat. There's nothing like an arco bass to shake the floor. Then you get to the funky stuff. Alright!
@sheslin Feb 2022
Very interesting sounds - lots of nice contrast going on. I agree - that double bass sound is tasty! A very compelling sonic journey.
@thedutchwidows Feb 2022
I know you said to skip to the drums, but I really love the bit at the start. I'm tempted to ask if I can nick a bit at the start and make a loop of it to play with...
It does get pretty groovy when the drums kick in. Plenty of cowbell going on!
@srcoops Feb 2022
Adventuresom and new. An interesting piece.
@corinnecurcio Feb 2022
Cool sounds and a really groovy beat!
@carleybaer Feb 2022
I love your phone recordings :D sounds like an orchestra tuning up at the beginning. God dang! The evolution! This is a great take. Good skirmish
@tukayandryan Feb 2022
Wow the madness is apparent from the start in the slight discord and fragmented nature. Nice one!
@tcelliott Feb 2022
Dang, when that rhythm gets to grooving it's quite the pushcart of oddball antiques for sale hitting every other pothole in the most melodic manner possible. It's so tasty.
@ajna1960 Feb 2022
Oh love that double bass sound at the start. I enjoyed the 'mad' interaction between the many instruments.
@chickenjail Feb 2022
It really picks up energy when the percussion comes in! Good thinking finding a way to get it online under time pressure
@sunfire Feb 2022
Some really good variation in sound. I like!
@keithcuts Feb 2022
you souind like youre having fun with this!
nice!
@andygriff Feb 2022
My goodness I wish I could be this creative so quickly, great job especially with the diverse choice of instruments and sounds.
@berni1954 Feb 2022
Veering on madness indeed at some points, especially at the beginning. An underlining feel of menace, but one that doesn't become that menacing, but rather slips easily into a Latin American feel jam. It was a bit long, but maybe that was just to drive us mad ;-)
@kahlo2013 Feb 2022
Indeed some great lines and wonderful buzzy deep bass with the other layers dancing around it in a seemingly haphazard way - like a dive in the madness of a mind. Love the quirkiness and coolness of this especially when the cowbell and shaker come in.
@coolparadiso Feb 2022
some cool sounds her, sounds like a drugged cello. nice beat pick up. good use of the prompt. Nice one
