Sorry for the hiatus. I am still writing only lyrics at this point, but I'll have some time this week to make some demos and put them up.
In the meantime, here's "Silver Arrows." This song reminds us that we are human. We'll make mistakes. We'll find ways to sabotage relationships, opportunities for growth, and our future plans. But we can get back on our feet to fight again. We can climb the walls that knocked us down before.
You don't need silver arrows to hunt the wolves
You don't need pales or shovels to dig for gold
You don't need two clear eyes to catch a glimpse of the truth
Keep on keeping on and you'll muddle through
There are days where your heart kicks straight at your chest
There are nights you shoot your shot and hope for the best
There are mornings you wake up deflated and slim
But the well isn't dry, you can fill it to the brim
Take it easy, now
You’ve had a long day
There’s no going back
To your old ways
Every day should flow
Like a Sunday
And one day, you will know
Follow that arrow to an unknown road
You don’t need a map, you’ll know where to go
It’s there in your stomach, it’s there in your mind
The hardest parts will fade into the pines
Yeah, the hardest parts will fade into the pines

These are some superbly crafted lyrics! A subtle emotion put across clearly through vibrant images, and really good use of repeated phrases in the verses.
