Kept the production pretty simple on this one as I am at the halfway mark with 7 songs. Will revisit this after FAWM.
Born Again - NuChoyce, Intro by Tren V
Late night I stay up, I stay up I can’t sleep
Im in my dreams they, they making me weak and…
(Oooow, Yea)
Gotta be a reason yea (reason)
Gotta be a message yea
Things don’t just happen (No)
Gotta be a lesson (Yea yea)
Will I learn this time
Will I be blind
These questions that I’m asking
‘Cause I need some understanding
(To understand so much more)
New Chapter, New page
No longer a slave
No longer in a box yea, (Brand new)
Like I’m born again, born again, born again, yea
Born again born again
Like I’m born again, (born again, born again) yea, yea, yea
(Born again born again)
(Oooow) Oooh yea, (I’m born again)
Like I’m born again yea
(Born again born again)
Look, dipped my head under the water
Then I came up searching for air
Felt like I was sort of in the matrix, yea
Patience is a vertue
But first we gotta stick to the basics
Is anything sacred, Is anything whole,
Is anything true, I really wanna know
These questions that I’m asking ‘cause I need some understanding
(To understand so much more)
New Chapter, New page (new page)
No longer a slave (a slave)
No longer in a box yea, Brand new
Like I’m born again, born again, born again, yea
Born again born again
Like I’m born again, (I’m born again yea yea yea)
(Born again born again)
Like I’m born again, born again, born again, yea
(Born again born again) Like I’m born again, yea, yea, yea
Yeah, Brand new (Oooow)

Holy shit dude you're AWESOME. Ups to Tren V too, this track is exactly that rnb sweet spot I love. And your vocals, damn.

Awesome smooth vocals, which I’ve come to expect from you of course! Love the sections where you suspend the beat and then drop it back in, so satisfying.

Totally awesome! Brilliantly produced! Thanks from me, too!

You've established such a strong backing track with the contrary motion/octave switching between the guitar and vocals. Once your solo voice comes front and center and gets bolstered by that glorious gospel choir, the song's full power comes into display. I haven't heard much progressive R&B on FAWM but you have absolutely nailed this genre, I'm so glad to have heard this song! Thanks for posting!
