I really like this one. took a more chill approach started with some pads, made an electronic drop.
Has some sick riffs, I already have another version but I didn't bounce it.
got some choirs pads and cellos with guitar synth and psy basses

@nadine it's actually this thing from NI Kontakt called Rise and Hit which is a suite of risers/impacts. just have to cut out all the instruments, although you could easily do a reverse cymbal if that's all you have. in metalcore or tech death you would use two hands on a cymbal and get louder as a drummer. or maybe it's post production manipulation of a cymbal sample. there are plenty of ways to achieve this. here it's not volume automation or filters but a riser. Rise and hit has many orchestral options etc etc although you could do filtering or volume automation on some white noise or a cymbal if you don't want to reverse it. just have to go to silence to really hear it and give the piece space

Yes, these are some sick riffs in 6/8. Could be part of a very dark sci-fi movie. Banging.
How did you create the break around 1:53? volume automation? Reverse? I hear these a lot in metalcore and technical metal productions but I haven't understood yet.
